Our Team
Mr. Fawaz is the Founder and Chairman of Diligent Financial Services, DFS. He has been engaged in financial services since 2011. He started his career as business development manager with Allied Integrated management where he worked within a team of professionals for structuring policies and procedures for several companies. Mr. Fawaz has an intensive experience in investment banking and capital markets, he joined Al-Bilad Islamic Bank as Head of International Banking managing and arranging financing transactions covering the MENA and GCC regions. Mr. Fawaz gained a wide experience in developing a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and, arranging business meetings with prospective clients and developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business. Prior to DFS, Hassan established Fawaz Investment Group which is a real estate and construction company with an impressive construction portfolio. Mr. Fawaz graduated from the Lebanese American University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Banking and Finance. Mr. Fawaz completed the highly regarded Oxford Fintech Program with Said Business School – University of Oxford.
Mrs. El Dana is a Board Member at Diligent Financial Services, DFS. She has more than 15 years’ experience in Finance, Investment and Banking Procedures, as well as Business Development. She has a good knowledge of Investment Procedures and Regulations in Lebanon and extensive knowledge in operational and crisis management. Prior to that, she was a Group Marketing Director, her experience involves setting strategic marketing plans, brand positioning, new products launching, development and implementation of websites. In 2010, Ms. El Dana worked with AKSYS Capital financial institution where she acquired excellent knowledge about the financial market, banking system and portfolio managing. Mrs. El Dana graduated from the Lebanese American University in Beirut with a Bachelor in Business. She also completed a Certification in Digital marketing with Introit which covered the fundamentals of building successful Digital Marketing campaigns using the appropriate social media and Digital Channels, Strategies and Tools.
Mira has over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance. throughout her career, she has dealt with all kinds of financial institutions, including Brokerage firms, the central Bank, the ministry of Finance and social security.
She has also built great connections with external auditors, while following up and reconciling emerging challenge with the corresponding banks.
Mira has also served as an important coordinator between several institutional departments (Back office, administration, accounting…), where she had
Control on all fixed assets and general expenses.
Nehmat has experience and strong record of providing top-tier strategy consulting; she has vast experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, project-management and strong leadership skills. She holds a bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies from Lebanese American University (LAU). As Director, Corporate Advisory for the ‘DFS’, Nehmat is responsible for advising on businesses operations and performance to assist with strategy and business planning. Implementation and assistance with corporatization strategy. Acquisition strategy – target identification, valuation, approach and due diligence. Succession planning strategy – valuation, strategy, approach and transaction management. Preparation and implementation of 3-way forecasting model to assist with monitoring performance: KPI’s; Setting and monitoring of KPI’s and mid to long term strategy; Banking covenants; and Benchmarking. Throughout her 30+ years career as Corporate and Financial Advisor working with both institutional and retail clients, Nehmat has a wide practice in a range of investment strategy planning, market analysis, structuring and advising responsibilities; addressing unique circumstances through to ensure best optimal results. She makes regular reports covering financial, economic and geopolitical subjects related to the financial markets. A keynote speaker at numerous industry conferences and Seminars.
Having a mathematical background and a strong expertise of more than 10 years in capital markets and quantitative finance, I earned the skills and the experience to be head of risk management in financial companies. I have started my studies with a B.A. in Mathematics from the Lebanese University and later I got my master degree in Statistics of Finance from Le Conservatoire National Des Arts Wet Métiers (CNAM) Paris-Beirut, in addition to certificates in Global Securities, Global Derivatives and Risk in Financial Markets from L’Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) Beirut. My career has started with teaching Math and Statistics, then I have been involved in the financial domain through Aksys Capital a OUR TEAM financial intermediary firm regulated from BDL, I started in Compliance department, Back office, Middle office and then Risk manager where I was covering all the tasks of identifying, mitigating and monitoring the company’s risks in addition of analyzing the clients’ portfolios’ risks, and ensuring the proper implementation of the regulator circulars.My commitment, integrity and expertise are my main assets.
